AKRON, Ohio -- A 46-year-old man is dead following a shooting in Akron on Monday evening.
Authorities say it happened at 6:15 p.m. in the 800 block of East Exchange Street.
When officers arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his torso.
He was taken to Akron City Hospital where he later died at 8:10 p.m.
