The Bridgestone SENIOR PLAYERS Championship is returning to Firestone Country Club in Akron this summer, and tickets are officially on sale now.
The 2022 Bridgestone SENIOR PLAYERS Championship will take place at Firestone from July 6 through July 10 and is set to feature the likes of Ernie Els, Fred Couples, Jim Furyk, and defending champion Steve Stricker.
“We are excited for the legends of the game to return to Firestone for this year’s Bridgestone SENIOR PLAYERS Championship,” said Don Padgett III, Executive Director of the Bridgestone SENIOR PLAYERS Championship. “In addition to the golf tournament, we are excited to provide some incredible concerts following the conclusion of play on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy this family-friendly event featuring great local food, and we look forward to hosting you at Firestone this summer.”
Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets to the event sooner than later, as the prices are lower now than they will be when the tournament rolls around. As of now, tickets for the competition rounds from Thursday through Sunday are set at $15, and tickets for Wednesday’s practice round start at $10. Additionally, admission after 2 p.m. on Saturday is just $5 in advance and admission after 2 p.m. on Sunday will be free.
The weekend will also feature a pair of concerts. The Vindys will be performing on Saturday following the completion of the third round and the Akron Symphony Orchestra will be performing following the tournament’s completion on Sunday.
