AKRON, Ohio — An early morning accident has claimed the life of an unidentified man who was riding a bicycle.
It was around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday when a vehicle went off the roadway and traveled onto the sidewalk near the intersection of East Exchange Street and South Broadway Street.
A man who was riding a bike on the sidewalk was struck by the vehicle. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died at 3:41 a.m. The victim has not yet been identified.
