CANTON, Ohio — The Canton Police Department is investigating a deadly incident that left one man dead and a woman seriously hurt.

It happened Friday, March 17, just after 10:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Walnut Ave. N.E.

Officers responded there after someone from the home called for help. Once there, they found a man unresponsive with multiple stab wounds, a news release said. The man, identified as 36-year-old Spencer Price, was taken to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, where he died.

While at the home, officers found a woman who had serious injuries to her face and head, including several teeth "knocked out," the news release said.
