CLEVELAND — As we're now eight months into the pandemic and the holiday season is quickly approaching, Ohioans are banning together to support one another.
On Monday, Cleveland Cavaliers Center Andre Drummond and The Boiler 65 joined forces to pass out turkeys and produce care packages to those in need ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
The care packages were provided to the first 200 families at The Boiler 65's South Euclid Location: 13957 Cedar Rd South Euclid, OH 44118.
The event was executed in partnership with Hillcrest Food Service and Sirna and Sons Produce.
A second turkey giveaway is set to take place Tuesday, November 24 at The Boiler 65's west side location at 6410 Detroit Ave Cleveland, OH 44102. The giveaway is slated to begin at noon.
