Cleveland Court systems open only to 'essential employees' through June 2

Earlier this week, the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas announced the reopening to the public

CLEVELAND — Cuyahoga County announced the continued closure of the Cuyahoga County Justice Center, Old Courthouse, Juvenile Court, and Courthouse Square to the public through Tuesday, June 2. 

The building will only be accessible to 'essential personnel.'

Parts of the Cuyahoga County Justice Center were damaged during the 'I can't breathe' demonstration on Saturday, leading to the City of Cleveland implementing a curfew in the downtown area.

Cuyahoga County court systems have not announced a reopening date at this time.
