Cleveland Fire searching through "toxic smoke" at apartment complex fire on E. 152 Street

The fire is within the 400 Block of E. 152 Street.

Cleveland Fire are currently responding to a fire in the 400 Block of E. 152 Street, according to the department's Twitter account. 

"Apartment Fire. E.152 north of Waterloo in 6th Battalion. Arriving companies found the third floor well involved Transitional attack moving from exterior to interior fire fighting operations. Search and Rescue underway. All hands working... "

The Cleveland Firefighters Association also tweeted about the ongoing battle. 

"At 1:15pm #ClevelandFirefighters working an occupied APARTMENT building on FIRE 400 block of E. 152. Engine co’s 31,30,40. Ladders 31 & 10. Tech Rescue 1," Cleveland Fire tweeted on Thursday afternoon at 1:22 p.m. "Chief of the 6th Battalion Crews searching in toxic smoke for victims & aggressively fighting the fire."
