Cleveland police searching for missing 13-year-old boy

Cleveland police searching for missing 13-year-old Keith McDowell.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police is asking the public to help them locate a missing 13-year-old boy, last seen over a week ago.

According to police, Keith McDowell has been missing since running away earlier this month. Police say Keith was last seen in person by his family on July 8 in the 2100 block of Kennard Road. 

Officials say that the teenager has been seen on social media since that day, but not in person. Family told the police that the boy may be in possession of car keys and could be driving. 

Anyone with information on Keith's whereabouts is encouraged to reach out to the Cleveland police detectives at (216) 621-1234.
