CLEVELAND — Two men arrested for stabbing a Cleveland restaurant worker to death Saturday are being held on $500,000 bond.

Jeremy Calloway, 27, and Omar Calloway, 24, both made their first court appearance in the case Tuesday morning where they pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder.

Prosecutors asked for a $1 million bond, but the judge decided on the lower amount because the suspects have no prior violent criminal record.

According to reports, the victim and the Calloways were involved in a verbal altercation that became physical while working inside the restaurant's kitchen at Academy Tavern.

The victim, identified as 23-year-old Michael Reese Jr., was stabbed to death.

The Calloways are due back in court for a preliminary hearing on April 5, 2019 at 9 a.m.
