Bald eagle nest sighted in Cleveland

Get a look at this!

There was a time when the Cuyahoga River was considered "dead".

Years of industrial pollution drew the life out of the water and surrounding land, but Mother Nature is one tough cookie.

The river valley has made an incredible comeback.

For the first time since the mid 1800's, a bald eagle's nest was sighted right in the heart of industrial Cleveland.

The nest is located in the Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation and can be seen from the Towpath Trail. If you're lucky, you might see the eagles.

While there aren't any eggs yet, here's to hoping for more surprises along the Crooked River.
