Body cam footage shows aftermath of house explosion in Cleveland's Glenville neighborhood

The home, which was occupied, was completely flattened in the explosion.

New Cleveland Police body camera footage shows the immediate aftermath of the house explosion on Primrose Avenue last month.

The video shows scattered debris from the officers' perspectives as they worked to seal off the area around Linn and Primrose in Cleveland's Glenville neighborhood.

The home, which was occupied, was completely flattened in the explosion. One woman was injured.

A resident described the incident to WKYC at the scene:

Earlier this month, a deadly explosion rocked a house in the 1000 block of E. 125th Street in East Cleveland. Two people were attempting to strip metal off the vacated home, building up so much natural gas inside the home that it blew up, killing a woman and critically injuring 51-year-old Craig Martin Kelly. Police later took one man into custody.
