Officials have recovered the body of a man from Lake Erie Tuesday evening.

The discovery comes after officials spent much of the day searching for a missing male. Several witnesses reported seeing a man, fully clothed, jump into the water at Voinovich Park Monday evening.

The U.S. Coast Guard with the help from Cleveland Fire and Police Departments searched for the man until dark Monday evening and resumed their search at Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.
