CLEVELAND -- Police say the shooting of two children in Cleveland "appears to be gang-related."
It happened Monday afternoon on the city's east side near the intersection of E. 37th Street and Capers.
Police say a 15-year-old boy was shot in the arm and a 5-year-old girl was shot in the leg. The shots were fired by multiple men from a vehicle.
Police believe the suspect vehicle could be a silver van. They also do not believe that the children were the target.
The 5-year-old girl has been treated and released from the hospital. Police say the 15-year-old boy remains in the hospital in an undisclosed condition.
