CLEVELAND — Cleveland Hopkins International Airport will soon increase fees on its premium valet parking services, the airport announced Friday.

Fees will rise to $30 per day, a $5 increase.

The new price will take effect July 1.

The airport says this is the first increase in its valet prices since 2015.

Parking issues have plagued the airport in recent months, as heavy travel times like spring break leave airport parking lots full.

Airport officials said in March that full lots aren't uncommon, and that the airport plans to address parking concerns in its master plan. Officials say that a third party will review the airport's needs and construction plans, though the master plan won't be released for another two years.
