Winter RiverFest kicks is underway and will continue until Jan. 2. The festival will take place every day of the week with the following hours:

- Saturday - Sunday: Noon - 9:30 p.m.
“The holiday season is a special time in Cleveland Metroparks, and we are thrilled to bring back Winter RiverFest along the Cuyahoga River,” said Cleveland Metroparks CEO Brian M. Zimmerman. “With ice skating, festive dining, and more, Winter RiverFest provides an opportunity for families to create new holiday traditions along our scenic waterfront.”
RiverFest features a brand-new refrigerated ice-skating rink and appearances by Santa Claus.
The seasonal ice-skating rink will feature real ice that can withstand temperatures up to 80 degrees. Guests interested in skating can make their reservations ahead of time online in 90-minute increments. Skating reservations for guests above 6 years of age will be $12, and guests from 3-5 years of age will receive a discounted rate of $5. Guests can also rent ice skates for $3.
Ice skaters without a reservation will be accepted based on availability. Private ice rink rentals can also be booked by visiting HERE.
Other features of the festival include holiday decorations, a beer garden with firepits, a retail shop and a dining experience in an igloo by the Cuyahoga River in the Flats.
