CLEVELAND — Police are asking for the public's help finding a 12-year-old girl who apparently ran away from her Cleveland home Sunday afternoon.

Officials say Daimiyah Bourns jumped out of her bedroom window on the 10300 block of Olivet Avenue around 12:45 p.m. Her grandmothers drove around looking for her and later spotted her, but she refused to come with them and fled.

Daimiyah is described as being 5-foot-3 and weighing 120 pounds with dark skin, brown hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing a black jacket and black pants at the time of her disappearance.

Anyone with information regarding Daimiyah's whereabouts is asked to immediately call 911.
