Cleveland police find alligator during drug bust, arrest man named Charlie Brown

No word if the gator's name is Snoopy.

CLEVELAND — Police found a surprising new friend while serving a drug warrant Friday.

Officers were serving a search warrant as part of a drug investigation in the area of E. 161st Street and Waterloo Road when they discovered a 3 1/2-foot-long alligator on the property.

The gator was taken to the Animal Protective League.

Police arrested one person, identified as Charlie Brown, for drug trafficking.

Officers also confiscated three guns and drugs from the scene.
