A Cleveland police officer was arrested on misdemeanor charges Wednesday night, officials confirm.
Mario Lozada was arrested by Garfield Heights Police on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and improper handling of a firearm.
Lozada, assigned to the second district, has been placed on restricted duty until the conclusion of the investigation.
Lozada joined the Cleveland Police Department in 1992.
