Cleveland police searching for missing 11-year-old girl

CLEVELAND — Police are asking for the public's help finding an 11-year-old girl who left her home on Cleveland's east side Thursday after and has yet to return.

According to authorities, Love A. Harris was confronted by her mother just about "recent poor behavior" before the child "tried to fight" her parent. The mother then left the house on Arlington Avenue to pick up her son, but when she returned around 5:30 p.m., Love was gone.

The woman told officers her daughter "has done this in the past," but have never been gone for more than a few hours. Love has now been missing for more than 20.

Love is described as being 5-foot-6 and weighing 125 pounds with brown hair in an Afro puff and brown eyes. She was wearing black pants, a white shirt, and possibly a puffy yellow coat at the time of her disappearance, and is said to have acne and scars on her cheeks.
