Cleveland Police searching for missing 12-year-old boy

Police are concerned for Brandon Johnson's safety due to his age.

The Cleveland Police Department is seeking the public's help locating a missing child. 

12-year-old Brandon Johnson was last seen at his home in the 500 block of East 143rd Street in Cleveland on Tuesday. According to Johnson's mother, she had placed Johnson under punishment when he left a noted on his bed and left their home without permission. 

He is described as 5'8" tall Black boy weighing approximately 95 pounds with a brown eyes and black hair cut into a high-top fade. He was last seen wearing black pants, a black and green shirt and carrying a black and red backpack.

Johnson is a sixth grade student at Memorial Elementary and could be in the area of the 16300 block of Lakeshore Blvd.  

Police are concerned for Johnson's safety due to his age. Anyone with any information on Brandon Johnson or his whereabout is asked to contact Cleveland Police or call 911.
