Experiences in the CLE that will spice up your winter doldrums

Don't let the cold keep you down!

CLEVELAND — Just because it's cold outside, doesn't mean you should stay home this winter.

You can warm up and have some fun by checking out some great local interactive shows and events.

Our Alexa Lee stopped by Music Box Supper Club's "Cleveland Stories Dinner Party" series to enjoy a themed dinner and learn about Cleveland's Prohibition-era mobsters. In the coming weeks, there will be dinners focusing on sports, movies, music, and journalism.

The series runs every Wednesday night through the end of April. Admission is free and you can opt-in to a $20 themed, 3-course dinner.

Once she finished dinner, Alexa moved on to get some laughs at the interactive comedy play "Flanagan's Wake" at Playhouse Square's Kennedy's Theatre.

The show has been at the theater for 10 years and runs through the end of April.
