Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Cleveland delivering hot meals for Christmas

Meals will be distributed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Augustine Hunger Center.

CLEVELAND — If you, or someone you know needs a hot meal for Christmas, a longtime organization can help.

On Dec. 25, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Cleveland will distribute meals during the annual "Christmas Hot Meals" event at St. Augustine Hunger Center.

Meals will be distributed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Augustine Hunger Center located at 1400 Howard Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, 44113.

Additionally, the charitable group is delivering hot meals, right to your home and to area shelters.

Meal delivery will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Barons Arena and continue until all meals are delivered. Meals will be delivered to approximately 15 community partners that support the homeless in surrounding counties.

According to event organizers, volunteers for the meal delivery service is of the greatest need this year.

Catholic Charities is accepting meal delivery requests until noon on Friday, Dec. 23, 2022.

The event will look to serve up to 11,000 meals this year. Volunteers will be used to help assist with meal service and delivery.
