Pair of houses catch fire on Cleveland's east side

It does not appear anyone was injured.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Fire battled a large blaze Friday afternoon that left one home destroyed and another severely damaged on the east side of the city.

One of the houses was so charred you could see right through it, while the second to the right of it has left at least one resident who had been there 55 years homeless for the time being. The American Red Cross is assisting.
