CLEVELAND — Police are searching for 18-year-old Jermaine Rashad Strozier Jr., a Cleveland man who sent a frightening text message to his father early Thursday morning.
“Deron dropped me off at a friends house and I was kicked in the ribs and I’m hiding in the bathroom,” Strozier said in the message to his dad around 1:30 a.m. “I don’t know where I am.”
His father tried calling Strozier multiple times, but was unable to reach him and didn’t have any contact information for the Deron mentioned in the text.
Authorities pinged Strozier’s phone in Painesville, but a police report indicates his father doesn’t know of anybody who lives there.
Strozier is described as 5’7” tall and 150 pounds. Strozier has a mustache, black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing beige pants and a burgundy polo, according to a press release.
Anybody with information is asked to call the Cleveland Police Department immediately.
