The husband and wife owned and operated “R Demolition" in Cleveland, and pleaded guilty to providing cash payments, as well as valuable items, to Rufus Taylor, the former Chief of the Demolition Bureau for the city of Cleveland.

According to court records, the payments were used to secure contracts for jobs within the city of Cleveland. The couple also admitted to submitting false tax returns, underreporting their income for 2015, 2016, and 2017.

According to Brennan, Taylor was sentenced to 21 months in prison for his part in the scheme.
