CLEVELAND — One man is dead and another is recovering from injuries after a shooting in South Collinwood Saturday night.

Police say the shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the 800 block of Alhambra Road. When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old man dead in the street with a gunshot wound to the head.

A second victim, a 27-year-old man, was found in a nearby field with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to University Hospitals for treatment.

Witnesses at the scene told police they saw the victims standing in the street talking to others when shots were heard and an unknown number of males were seen running from the area.

Police later received a second report of an armed male. No arrests were made, but officers found a gun in a garage in the 16000 block of Kipling Avenue.

Police have not publicly identified the victim, and no suspects have been found.
