Police in Cleveland are asking for the public's help locating an endangered woman who has been missing for six days.

According to a police report, 42-year-old Maya Meadows was last seen on Apr. 18. Her ex-husband apparently told authorities he went to her home on Lotus Drive early Wednesday morning (around 12:30 a.m.) and did not find her.

Several texts shown to officers gave inconsistencies as to Meadows' possible location. Her home showed no signs of violence or forced entry, although her purse was found on the counter.

Meadows is described as being 5-foot-2 and weighing 185 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, and pierced ears. She also suffers from schizophrenia and is in need of her medication.

Anyone with information regarding Meadows' whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Cleveland Division of Police at (216) 621-1234.
