CLEVELAND — One road was been shut down & multiple buildings were evacuated due to a gas leak on Cleveland's east side.
Officials say construction crews accidentally struck a gas line near University Circle, shutting down Hazel Drive from East Boulevard to Magnolia Drive. Firefighters worked to secure the area, & the leak has now been abated.
While citizens were only evacuated "as a precaution," authorities are advising people to avoid the area for the time being. Stay with 3News for updates as the situation develops.
