The event, called Operation Santa's Sleigh, is sponsored by Light Ohio Blue. Each year, the group of first responders gathers to drive by local hospitals and veterans center, bringing holiday joy to staff and patients.

This year, Operation Santa's Sleigh will take place in eight cities across Ohio, including Akron, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Sandusky. University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Seidman Cancer Center, and Rainbow Babies and Children's all got a front-row seat to the joyous event.

More than 50 Northeast Ohio first responders and public safety vehicles took part, and sources tell us that a famous North Pole resident, a.k.a. Santa Clause, also was present!
