Officials responded to an accident in downtown Cleveland involving a police cruiser and an RTA bus, Thursday evening.
The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. near East 9th Street and Prospect Avenue.
According to police, it is believed the officer suffered a medical emergency causing his cruiser to crash into multiple vehicles, the RTA bus and a pedestrian.
No injuries were we reported on the bus no one in other vehicles involves suffered major injuries. One driver may have injured their elbow.
The pedestrian suffering bruising and abrasions was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center, along with the officer, for evaluation and treatment.
The accident remains under investigation.
