Thousands without power as storms hit Northeast Ohio

It has been a stormy morning throughout the region.

CLEVELAND — As storms pound Northeast Ohio early this Labor Day morning, FirstEnergy is reporting more than 4,000 customers without power as of 4 p.m.

Below are the most-recent outage numbers. NOTE: We are updating these outage numbers frequently so be sure to check back and refresh this story to get the latest updates:

  • Cuyahoga: 283 outages.
  • Geauga: 57 outages.
  • Lake: 18 outages.
  • Lorain: 14 outages.
  • Portage: 98 outages.
  • Summit: 76 outages.

Due to the heavy rain, the National Weather Service has also activated a Flash Flood Warning in multiple counties until 2 p.m.
