Remains found on W 80th St. officially identified as 5-year-old Jordan Rodriguez

His remains were found buried in bags.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has confirmed what many already assumed: That the remains found buried in Cleveland this week are those of 5-year-old Jordan Rodriguez, who's mother Larissa is now charged with his murder.

The cause of Rodriguez's death is not yet known, although documents claim he showed signs of physical abuse, including broken ribs. The medical examiner's office added Jordan's remain's were buried in bags.

Police discovered the remains of the young child on Tuesday after receiving a call from a man in Pakistan claiming his brother's son was buried in the yard. Larissa Rodriguez was charged with murder Thursday, and an additional charge of felonious assault is also pending.

Her boyfriend, Christopher Rodriguez, could also face charges.
