CLEVELAND — A suspect has turned himself in after police issued an arrest warrant for him in a hit-skip crash that left one man dead earlier this month.

A Cleveland police spokesperson said charges have been filed against 21-year-old Davonte Long.

According to court records, Long is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and failure to stop after an accident.

Long is wanted as the driver who hit and killed 67-year-old Camilo Gabriel on W. 25th Street on March 15. Gabriel died at MetroHealth Medical Center. His wife, who was with him at the time of the incident, did not suffer any injuries.

The white Chevrolet Trailblazer that Long was allegedly driving was found three days later.
