Tours of Cleveland: Walking through our city's history

Take a stroll through Cleveland, learning about its rich history and the famous people who have lived here.

CLEVELAND — Have you ever wandered around downtown admiring all of Cleveland's impressive architecture? More so, have you ever thought about the history behind these impressive landmarks?

If you said, "yes," than Tours of Cleveland might be for you.

Downtown Highlights Cleveland walking tours begin in Public Square and end at Playhouse Square. The tour covers all the highlights of downtown Cleveland in a two-hour tour.

You'll learn about the brief history of our town, the buildings on Public Square along the Mall, plus the surrounding landmarks.

Ever wonder about the Cleveland Public Library's history? You'll learn about that, too. And, in not particular order: The Cleveland Federal Reserve; Playhouse Square; Arcade; and Cleveland Trust Company Building (Heinen's). You'll hear about famous Clevelanders, past and present.

You'll be walking for two hours, but some stops on the tour offer for people to sit. The tours go on rain or shine, so dress appropriately!
