CLEVELAND -- Vice President Mike Pence was center stage at Cleveland's InterContinental Hotel Friday to speak about President Trump's tax plan.
Mr. Pence gave the keynote address at America First Policies' "Tax Cuts to Put America First" event.
Economic growth was one of the main themes of the vice president's speech. Mr. Pence claimed that more than 3,300 manufacturing jobs have been added in Cleveland alone since President Trump took office. He also said Ohio families will see their paychecks rise by roughly $4,000 a year because of the recent tax cuts.
During the speech, a protestor interrupted Vice President Pence with chants of 'Medicare' before being removed.
