Visit Me in CLE shows off the best of our town

Be a tourist in your own town! The Visit Me in CLE initiative is a great way to show off our amazing city to your friends and family.

CLEVELAND — It's the last day for Destination Cleveland's Visit Me in CLE campaign! So to garner some attendance, they asked residents to be part of the growing travel and tourism industry by inviting their family and friends to experience Cleveland firsthand this weekend.

The initiative ran from June 21-23.

Special events taking place during the weekend included Burning River Fest, CONCACAF Gold Cup, Cuyahoga50, Cleveland Indians games and Night Market CLE.

The weekend also marks the return of the Asian Lantern Festival at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

This weekend, Destination Cleveland has a temporary visitors center in Public Square. Residents are encouraged to bring their out-of-town guests to receive a prize for participating in the weekend’s events, including gear from Cleveland Clothing Company, and discounted tickets to your favorite attractions around town.

The Public Square party runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, and includes free games, temporary tattoos, ice cream and lunch! There's also a Visit Me in CLE photo wall, and live entertainment.
