Where are the best new places to eat and drink in the CLE?

From fun cocktails to great food, there are so many places to check out this winter in Cleveland

CLEVELAND — Cleveland's food scene is booming, with no shortage of hot spots to put on your list.

We decided to head out and sample three of the newest and coolest places to eat and drink this winter.

Stop #1--Distill Table in Lakewood

"What stays local, grows local," is the message at this organic distillery with a full-service farm-to-table restaurant that is fresh and eco-sustainable. Distill Table offers handcrafted cocktails and food inspired by Chef Eddie Tancredi.

"All the grains come from our farm in West Salem," Tancredi explains. "Those grains are sent back to the feed, to the farm for the cattle and hog which is used on the menu.

Stop #2--Flight Cleveland

If you like wine, then Flight Cleveland Wine Shop and Bar is the place for you. Located on Detroit Avenue in Cleveland's Gordon Square neighborhood, you'll find 400 bottles of wine on the shelves, 29 wines on tap, and three craft beers on draft.

"Flight is all about making wine more fun, more approachable, and more affordable," says owner Lindsay Smith.

Stop #3--Barroco Arepa Bar

There are three Barroco locations in Northeast Ohio: Larchmere Blvd. in Cleveland, on Madison Ave. in Lakewood, and at Crocker Park in Westlake

They tell you that when you arrive at Barroco, you'll find an eclectic and vibrant atmosphere to make you think you're in another world.

"It's a Latin American restaurant," says owner Juan Vergara. "But we focus a little more on Columbian cuisine."
