The Rockefeller Park Greenhouse in Cleveland has announced its plans to reopen after being closed for over a year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
According to a Facebook post, the popular Cleveland attraction is set to reopen to visitors on Friday, May 7, and will be open to the public seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
However, new rules will be in place, including a capacity limit on the number of visitors allowed inside indoor areas, as well as requiring all guests to wear face masks. The facility has also made the decision to temporarily prohibit indoor photoshoots, the use of tripods and easels, eating and drinking and any other action deemed by their staff to pose a risk to the health and safety of others.
"We truly look forward to opening our gates and doors once again!" the Facebook post from the location says.
The Rockefeller Greenhouse includes one acre under glass and four acres of outside gardens. Its newest outdoor garden, the Iris Garden, is recognized as presenting one of the most expansive public collections of Iris cultivars in the country.
The Rockefeller Park Greenhouse is located at 750 E 88th Street. For more information on the greenhouse, click here.
