CLEVELAND — Few places bring people together like a local coffee shop, and there's nothing quite like finding your go-to spot. With more people working from home during the pandemic, business has slowed down significantly for many locally-owned coffee shops.
3News Special Contributor Emily Mayfield wanted to check out two great spots that are not only helping to serve their neighborhoods, they are also both minority and women-owned businesses.
1st stop: Cleveland Cold Brew, in Cleveland's Glenville neighborhood.
Address: 1400 E 105th St, Cleveland, OH 44106
About Cleveland Cold Brew: For many, coffee is a daily necessity: They grab a cup on the way out the door, gulp it down, and get to work. For Karen Ross, it’s a lifestyle. Ever since the '80s when she bought her first coffee grinder, she's been passionate about sharing her love for the brew with the greater community. Today, Karen’s the mastermind behind Cleveland Cold Brew Coffee and Cafe. "Here at our shop, we’re excited to share our delicious coffees and affordable breakfast and lunch options with our friends and neighbors. We spend up to 24 hours crafting our bold, smooth signature cold brew, but it'll only take one sip before you're hooked!"
Cleveland Cold Brew offers a full menu of hot and cold drinks, as well as a full food menu. They also sell their signature cold-brew coffee in bottles to go.
