BROOK PARK -- An 8-year-old girl passed away after being struck by a car in Brook Park Saturday.
The girl has been identified as Khloe Nida, according to a GoFundMe page created in her honor.
Khloe was hit by a car near Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish. Authorities say the car struck Khloe after it exited the parish parking lot and crossed Engle Road.
Khloe was transported to Southwest Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
