Body of missing Pennsylvania professor found in Cleveland Metroparks

The cause of death is not known at this time.

The body of a Pennsylvania man who had not been seen since before Thanksgiving has been located and identified.

Fifty-five-year-old Thomas Short Jr. was found on Dec. 2 in the Cleveland Metroparks' Acacia Reservation in Lyndhurst. An official cause of death is not yet known.

Short was an associate professor at West Chester University in Southeast Pennsylvania. He had originally been reported missing by Orange Village police after not showing up for Thanksgiving dinner.

The case remains under investigation.
