The two daycare centers previously cited for failing to report the signs of abuse against Aniya Day-Garrret will remain open.

Both Harbor Crest and Get Ready Set Grow requested hearings this week. The revocation process could take up to a year.

However,both daycare centers will continue to operate throughout the process unless and until their their licenses would be revoked.

A final decision will be made by the Director of JFS.

Aniya’s mother, and boyfriend are accused of killing her.
