Man missing from Euclid care facility found dead

Police say foul play is not suspected.

EUCLID, Ohio — A man who was reported missing from a Euclid care and rehabilitation center was found dead Wednesday morning.

According to police, the 59-year-old man went missing from Willow Rehabilitation Center on E. 191st Street. Staff realized the man was missing while performing routine checks and it is believed he left the building through a bedroom window. He was reported missing around 1:50 a.m.

A security officer later found the man on the ground in the area of 23001 Euclid Ave. around 8:30 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Willow Rehabilitation Center employee identified the victim as the missing man from the facility. His identity has not been publicly released pending official identification by the Cuayhoga County Medical Examiner.

Police say foul play is not suspected in the man's death.
