OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio — It's probably not that unusual for firefighters from Olmsted Township to get called to action in the middle of the night to go to work. One recent job, however, was a little unorthodox, yet no less courageous!

On Saturday, the Olmsted Township Fire Department posted a story on Facebook. Last week, they received a knock on their door at 2:30 a.m. from a man and his pregnant wife. The woman was in labor and the couple did not think they would be able to get to the hospital in time.

Firefighters immediately went into action and started to transport the couple to an area hospital. In fact, they delivered baby boy Tyler in the ambulance while en route to the hospital.

The couple, along with baby Tyler, paid a visit to the Olmsted Township Fire Department on Saturday to say thanks and pose for pictures.

"All in a day's work," the post finished. Well done by the four firefighters that were on duty that night!
