Roads reopen after deadly train incident in Lakewood

The train was moved shortly before 7 a.m. and all roads have reopened.

LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- Police say one person was struck and killed by a train early Monday morning.

It happened around 2:30 a.m.

The eastbound train was stopped on the tracks for several hours as police investigated the situation. As a result, all roads that cross the railroad between Cranford to Cook Avenue were also closed.

The train was moved shortly before 7 a.m. and all roads have reopened.

No additional information was immediately available.
