Stouffer's hands out free meals to federal workers affected by shutdown

Meals will be available while supplies last. Federal government ID required.

Stouffer's is lending a helping hand to government workers affected by the partial government shutdown. 

The brand started handing out free meals Wednesday to those in need with a valid government I.D. Meals will be given out at the Stouffer's Solon campus on Bainbridge Road as long as supplies last. 

On January 16th, stop by Stouffer's from 10am to 7pm to receive a free meal with your federal government ID. Tag a furloughed government employee in Cleveland to let them know. Find more details...

"Stouffer's has been a part of the Cleveland community since 1924," said the company in the post. "During this difficult time caused by the shutdown, we want to support you like you have supported us." 

Stouffer's says it also donating meals to the Cleveland Food Bank which will also distribute them to those in need.
