WESTLAKE, Ohio — A pair of Westlake police officers saved the day for a furry resident.

Video posted to the Westlake Police Department's Facebook page shows the officers helping the struggling raccoon, which had its head stuck inside a can.

According to the department, the officers were not called to the scene, but spotted the raccoon and decided to help.

In the end, the officers managed to free the raccoon and celebrated with a fist bump, while the raccoon scurried up a tree.
