She may be too young to realize it, but a girl in Shaker Heights now owes her life to two police officers.

She may be too young to realize it, but a girl in Shaker Heights now owes her life to two police officers.

The city's police department posted a video on its Facebook page of Officers Alex Oklander and Ryan Sidders stopping to help a disabled car being driven by Tamica Pruitte. Upon arrival, however, Oklander and Sidders realized Tamica's 2-month-old daughter Tyra was choking, and needed help fast.

Thinking quickly, the two officers held Tyra and turned her over while patting her on the back, trying to clear her airway. Her breathing was soon restored, and she was handed back into the arms of her mother.

We're all grateful Tyra's okay, and also grateful for the men who helped save her.
