SOLON, Ohio — Police officers in Solon had to administer Narcan to a suspect following a high-speed chase on Thursday night.

The incident started when officers spotted a potential stolen vehicle that was reported out of Bedford Heights a few weeks ago.

Once officers confirmed the car was stolen, they attempted a traffic stop on it. The driver, identified as 46-year-old Scott David Holland of Cleveland, took off and started a chase on Interstate 480.

Holland exited at Lee and McCracken roads and stopped the car before lying down in the street. When officers attempted to take him into custody, the suspect sank to the ground.

Officers gave Holland one dose of Narcan before he regained consciousness. He was taken to a local hospital and his condition is unknown.
