WOOSTER, Ohio — A former Wooster teacher has been indicted after having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student.
According to the Wooster Police Department, in June, officials were made aware of a possible relationship between former teacher, Emily Patterson, and a Wooster City School District student.
After a thorough investigation, which included inspecting cell phone records and interviews with those involved in the case, Wooster PD turned the case over to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.
